Better together, Vigor introduces encounter lobby news

Hei Outlanders.

Time flies when you are having fun in post-war Norway. It's been three months since we released Vigor for everyone, and we've slowly learned more about our Outlanders. There are more than three million of you now; brave souls who chose to conquer the war-torn Outlands and build their own Shelter – and legacy – among the ruins. You've provided us with a lot of feedback so far, and we're happy to hear it all – it helps us to shape and improve Vigor to make a better experience for everyone. In our last update, we added a new map, Brondalen Bridges, to expand the environments and add more verticality. The next thing is improved matchmaking, making it easier to join encounters. Many new weapons were also added, with some coming even between major updates, like the PPSh, or the PKM which was just released today. We learned Outlanders like to be unique and show off their threads, so we've made sure to release a steady supply of new customizations to ensure you always have a way of standing out. There's always someone better looking in the lobby, so make sure it's you!

Speaking of standing out in the lobby, we've now enhanced individual contributions. Of course, you all know about the social boosters – ways to improve encounters for everyone by collectively raising the quality of potential rewards. These shape the experience for everyone in the encounter, and it's safe to say the adrenaline certainly flows more when the stakes are high. I love the sensation of my heart pounding in my ears as I try to extract with a boosted airdrop crate. Let's take an additional step together – we have upped the ante, and now you're able to single-handedly boost rewards for everyone in the encounter, multiple times! Will you boost the loot to make it easier to snatch the airdrop? Or will you boost the crate to Special Issue and go in guns-blazing? The choice is all yours, and your influence on the encounter will definitely help you stand out among other Outlanders.

Let's not forget about the additional social aspect of the boosters – if you go into an encounter with your duo teammate, they will also share the benefits. Of course, boosters apply to everyone else in the encounter, but insurance, in this case, will affect your partner as well. Keep in mind, not everything in post-war Norway has to be cut-throat – you may make new friends in the lobby, and your generosity might prompt others to return the favour in following encounters. Added to that, we decided to make it easier for you to boost the airdrop crate by lowering the amount of Crowns required to do so. Enjoy the added excitement enhanced airdrops bring – it's on us.

I already briefly touched on the minor updates that keep Vigor alive between the major additions. A recurring feature regarding these updates was aptly named Vigor Wednesdays – special occasions when we want to get more in touch with the community. Pyrit streams the game, discusses progress, and answers pressing questions. Feel free to join and share your feedback as well, you're more than welcome. To add some action to the words, we add something new every Wednesday as well. It may be a small customization option showcased on the stream and social networks, or even new guns with their color variants. You can always check the Featured Store for exclusive items, or wait a bit until the new content becomes widely available in airdrop crates.

And we are preparing a lot more for the future, including a way to get limited exclusive customizations showcasing your dedication in Vigor, for example. We will share news about the upcoming Update 1.2 soon, so better get ready to hold onto your stakes in post-war Norway. See you there!
